Volunteer Opportunities
The Great Pumpkin Run
We are excited to announce the upcoming date for Home Life's Great Pumpkin Run fundraiser - Sunday, October 12, 2025.
We are pleased to welcome local runners as well as their family and friends from all over to participate in this Run/Walk event.
You can choose between a 5k Run or Walk or a 10k Run. For kids 12 and under, a fun run and inflatable obstacle course will be available.
We invite you to dress up for the Great Pumpkin Run, have fun and get creative. Dressing up will automatically enter you in our Costume Contest.
Race Registration OPENS August 1, 2025.

Volunteer Opportunities for The Great Pumpkin Run
Home Life is in need of volunteers to assist with various tasks (see below) the day of The Great Pumpkin Run. We cannot do this without you. If you are interested in helping us put on this fun community event, please fill out the Google interest form below or send an email to info@homelifeinc.org.
* Set up event tables, then direct parking: 4-5 people needed. Approximate timeframe: 7 am - 930 am
* Organize T-shirts and goodie bags: 3-4 people needed. Approximate timeframe: 7 am - 9 am
* Set up and run kids area: 4-5 people needed. Approximate timeframe: 730 am - 11 am
* Set up and man water stations: 2 people needed. Approximate timeframe: 8 am - 1030 am
* Tear-down crew: 8-10 people needed. Approximate timeframe: 1030 am - Noon
* Racecourse (point in the right direction and cheer): 40 people are needed. Approximate timeframe: 730 am - 1030 am. The course will allow volunteers to drive to their assigned location and park nearby. You are welcome to bring a chair.
Home Life & Majestic Theatre present SPROUT FILM FESTIVAL
The Sprout Film Festival’s mission is to inspire audiences, promote inclusion and support transformative filmmaking as an important part of social change.
This unique event, which focuses exclusively on films that celebrate the diverse lives and creativity of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), strives to challenge assumptions and breakdown stereotypes.
By introducing thought-provoking, powerful films to inclusive audiences, we hope to promote acceptance, celebrate differences and shine some light to help make the invisible, visible.
